The Prince of fashion

Apart from being an incredibly talented musician, Prince will be remembered for his daring fashion choices.

He pushed the boundaries of fashion, and became a fashion icon with his outrageous outfits.
Low-cut blouses, flared pants, kurtas, purple (his favourite colour), beads, chest hair and even lace; he has sported it all on stage.
Remember his signature suits in bold colours with shoulder pads, and white blazers with flared pants?
Let's take a trip down memory lane and check out some of his iconic looks from the past!
Prince
IMAGE: Prince, truly was a style icon! Anything out of the ordinary was a strict no-no for him. Probably that's why he threw in a hoodie to this white suit at the 31st Annual People's Choice Awards in 2005.

Prince
IMAGE: We wonder if this black-and-white outfit he wore to the NAACP Image Awards in 2005 was responsible for bringing colour blocks in vogue!

IMAGE: Here's a more recent picture of Prince. As he aged gracefully, his sense of outrageous style didn't fade. It takes a lot of guts to sport a babypink jacket and matching pink pants on stage, doesn't it? In 2006, for ABC's Good Morning America Concert Series, he shaped his eyebrows, put on some kohl and even chose to show some chest hair.
Prince
IMAGE: Flared pants were totally his style; he owned it! He loved the colour white and wore high heel shoes too!

Prince
IMAGE: His love for a pop of bold colors like turquoise and orange was pretty evident. That's Prince during the 'Pepsi Halftime Show' at Super Bowl XLI in 2007. Check out the next picture.

Prince
IMAGE: And how can we forget to mention his iconic hair-dos. We could go on and on...because he was an icon who made sure his each presence was dramatic, just like his performances. RIP Prince! We'll miss you.
