He pushed the boundaries of fashion, and became a fashion icon with his outrageous outfits.
Low-cut blouses, flared pants, kurtas, purple (his favourite colour), beads, chest hair and even lace; he has sported it all on stage.
Remember his signature suits in bold colours with shoulder pads, and white blazers with flared pants?

IMAGE: Prince, truly was a style icon! Anything out of the ordinary was a strict no-no for him. Probably that's why he threw in a hoodie to this white suit at the 31st Annual People's Choice Awards in 2005.
