Kai Po Che! International kite festival takes off with flying colours

The five-day International Kite Festival kickstarted in Gujarat on Sunday with as many as 98 foreign kite flyers from 28 different nations participating in it. Kite masters flying heart-shaped kites in Ahmedabad. Apart from foreign kite masters, 55 participants from eight different states of the country and 28 kite masters from Gujarat will also showcase their talent during the festival.

Participants from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Russia, Netherlands, Singapore, Turkey, Vietnam, Poland, Argentina and Brazil are taking part in this event, according to the tourism ministry.
